{Sheer Art Journal Challenge Finished}...

The Sheer Art Journal challenge I set for myself

came out really beautiful and so soft.

It's hard to capture the sheer layering in the photos

as they tend to blend together.

We all know what a quilt, a book or a scarf should be.

Fabric has finally come into its own as a medium for artistic self-expression. And the Art Quilt is at the center of this explosion in the Fiber Arts.

Fiber artists, me included, are looking beyond traditional patterns and techniques and are stepping outside the box to explore the convergence of fiber and art.
