{Taking Time for Myself...}

I have been spending all of my time out in my yard gardening and I couldn't be happier.
Nature and gardening are my first loves.  And over the last several years I
have been spending so much time in my studio creating fiber and mixed media
art for Les Femmes and local galleries
that gradually I began spending less time outdoors and in nature and I have
missed it too much.
Nature sustains me.  It is part of my very life force.
And I need it.
While I will still be creating art pieces I think the pace will slow down.
I also want to create some personal pieces.  Which I will continue to post.
This morning I spent a little time in PSE. (Finally, I can create something in a little time)
The top photo of course is my favorite. But while playing around I also
got this photo. Also quite nice I thought.
Which is your favorite?

Hi Autumn, I love this piece! I really like the first one, and I think it's because I like the "light" that's coming in from the right...does that make sense? Enjoy the weather and nature...it's very windy here this weekend, so I won't get to enjoy the outdoors as much. The windy weather really stirs up my sneezing and such! Have a great weekend!

i love them both!!
the first is beautiful and peaceful
i love the way the light draws you in
the second is more powerful going back and looking a second time, not comparing the two,
just appreciating it on it's own,
i flowes just "pop" out art you and you can
enjoy the contrast from light to dark,
great work

I guess I like the more natural look of the first one. I love your lacy background! Did you take that yourself or find it online?
