Journey

I'm recognizing the journey I but began when I was born.

A journey, I of course have be taking all along. How could I not have been?

This journey is one back to where I have, in reality, never left.

A journey "back" to my Source.

My art is a journey of self exploration ~
of self expression

I am a fiber artist,

a poet,

an explorer,

Whether I am sewing, knitting, felting, painting or gardening I have found a quite, peaceful place of joy in which I am set free… and this is what I most hope to share with you about my art.

We all know what a quilt, a book or a scarf should be.
But consider… what they can be.

Fabric has finally come into its own as a medium for artistic self-expression. And the Art Quilt is at the center of this explosion in the Fiber Arts.

Fiber artists, me included, are looking beyond traditional patterns and techniques and are stepping outside the box to explore the convergence of fiber and art.
