{Do I do messy stitching or neat stitching?}

This is the back of a postcard that I have purposely

stitched in a contrasting color and messy

While I think I like it.  Others, i.e. customers

might not appreciated it.

What do you think?

{Life - you Never know where it Might take you}

One last effort -lol

Well after 5 hours and many failed attempts with other projects

I at least have this one

It also will become a fabric postcard

{The Art of Living Cheerfully}

Ok... I think I have to say that I am "getting" PSE7.

While most of what I do are happy accidents I am able

to tweek even then.

It's taken well over a year, or has it been over 2 years (maybe it just feels like it)

of working with PSE7.

But I am now able to get results of the

kind of things I was wanting to do.

And let me tell you it has taken hundreds of hours

(some of them very frustrating :-0)

as anyone who works with Photoshop knows.

I have been wanting to do a quilt with chairs as the

subject.  I wonder if I might be able to us this?

And as the PSE workshop is ending I will be changing my focus.

But first maybe something with houses

{The Morning was Singing in Wonderous Celebration}

I am finally starting to get a bit of PSE7

I must say this is one of my favorites

Susan's class will be ending soon

and I will have the time to start using

all of these wonderful photos

{The Beauty of it All}

Week 4 of my Photoshop class with Susan Tuttle

I can't give all of the steps (I really don't know what I am doing yet)

But basically I started with the photo of the tulips

that I altered to get rid of the price tag.

Did the W4P1 steps but it was uninteresting so I began to play around.

I cropped and added this photo as a layer.

Then used blending modes, opacity settings and

some brushes and use the pencil

(Wishing it was Spring}

While we are glad to have the snow/rain here in

the mountains of Arizona I am longing

for the warm sunny days we are accustom to here

{Seasons of life...}

What can I say.  I'm taking  an online PS class.  So it's practice

practice practice

and then some more practice

all becoming stock for future projects

{Altered Photos}

Play with PSE7 adding brushes and trying out some masking

changing colors
